Prayer Shawl Group

We will provide warm shawls to place on the shoulders and laps of those in our midst who suffer the pain of loss, sadness  or illness. It has proven to be a truly rewarding ministry to those around us who ache for a comforting word and touch.  Many recipients have been richly blessed by these gifts over the past few years and as knitters we are also blessed by each life that is touched and by each stitch that is prayed over as we visit in a communion of love and connection twice a month.

The busy prayer shawl knitters and crocheters will resume their bimonthly gatherings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday afternoon of the month at 1 p.m
There continue to be beautiful stories about the way that our prayer shawls and lap blankets have been a blessing to those who have received them!  It is an awesome privilege to be a part of something so amazing! Keep up the good work, everyone!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Laureen by email at neerualwithjoy@sasktel.net. If you know of someone in your life who would benefit from the gifting of a shawl, please let us know. Laureen will consider your suggestions!
